6. Spending time in Bariloche with new friends hiking, swimming, hitchhiking, and enjoying the scenery. The views of this Lake District hub in Argentina were stunning. It didn’t hurt to make some great friends along the way in Esquel and some of the other smaller towns along the way. Lots of time for reflection atContinue reading “6 Days”

7. Meeting my mom in Buenos Aires and hiking throughout the lakes district. Speaking of appreciating people, seeing my mom after 2 months without her was just as incredible. It’s repetitive but worthwhile. Appreciate the good people in your life with love to give and receive.

8. Seeing Vanessa come through the gate in Colombia. There’s nothing quite like seeing a loved one after a long time with a long distance. That time came to an end twice during this trip, in Colombia and back in NYC. It’s a great way to remember to appreciate those who mean so much inContinue reading “8 Days”

It was cloudy and we couldn’t see the famed ruin. So we climbed down the final stretch ofContinue reading “10 Days”

Hiking with New Friends
So for this post, I’d like to focus on about 2 weeks of time. These two weeks were one of my most highly anticipated ones, right next to spending time in Colombia for what I think to be obvious reasons. But was the time I’d be spending in and around Torres del Paine national park.Continue reading “Hiking with New Friends”

14. Don’t be afraid of making mistakes. And definitely don’t be afraid of fixing mistakes. The only thing worse than not making a decision for fear of consequence is ignoring a consequence. I always regretted not going on a semester abroad in college. But that doesn’t mean I couldn’t take my own semester abroad. MyContinue reading “14 Days”

15. Be hungry. Don’t be satisfied and don’t accept the status quo just because. The world is because someone said so. It can be if you say otherwise. Taking time off has been a great way to renew that hunger for me personally. Taking a vacation or just a weekend trip to decompress can beContinue reading “15 Days”
